Former Reading keeper Stuart Moore had a debut to forget for Doncaster Rovers, conceding three and palming a long-range shot into the back of his own net.
Spending six years with the Royals from 17 until 23, the goalkeeper failed to make a first team appearance in Berkshire.
Enjoying seven loan spells away before moving to Barrow for one year, he has been at Blackpool since 2021.
Joining Rovers on loan last week, the 28-year-old was chucked in against in-form Salford City on Saturday.
Losing 3-1 at the Peninsula Stadium, he will want to forget the second goal as Steve Mallan's long-distance strike looked like easy pickings for the Isle of Wight native, only for it to prove too hot to handle.
Now nine points outside the top six with 10 to play, boss Danny Schofield said: "If you come to these places you know it’s going to be a tough challenge. To concede the first two goals on the back end of mistakes is difficult because it gives you an uphill challenge.”
When discussing Moore, the former Huddersfield Town boss added: “He showed great character (after the mistake). It’s always difficult when a keeper makes an error, it happens in football.
"Do we need to eradicate these mistakes? Yes, because there have been too many this season.
"He showed good character to perform for the rest of the game.”
