Former Reading youngster, Princewill Ehibhatiomhan, has joined Premier League strugglers Southampton.
The 17-year-old spent a decade with the Royals but departed in the summer, having trials at top-flight clubs across the country.
Signing his first professional deal for the Saints, the teenager has signed a two-year-deal at St Marys.
Younger brother of Reading striker Kelvin Ehibatiomhan- who scored his first goal for the club earlier in the season- the striker is very highly rated.
Speaking after the move, Ehibatiomhan said: “It’s a great feeling, I’m really happy to be here and I’m excited. I really enjoyed [the trial period] the environment was good so it made the decision easier.”
“I want to start playing for the team and score goals, work my way up and take opportunities as they come.”
Head of Youth Recruitment Dan Rice added: “Princewill is an exciting centre-forward that has excellent attacking characteristics and a prolific eye for goal, he’s a player that will bring an additional edge and firepower to the academy and will quickly add an extra attacking presence for the club in the future."
