Former Reading midfielder Alen Halilovic has taken to social media to wish the Royals well.
A wonderkid with Dinamo Zagreb and Barcelona, the Croatian played 12 times for the club last season- scoring the winner against Middlesbrough in the early stages of the year.
Never featuring under Paul Ince, the 26-year-old left over the summer and returned home with Rijeka- although he mutually terminated his contract in January.
Taking to Instagram, he said: "Good luck last two games Royals."
Alongside this was a video of his role in a famous 2-1 win over Fulham last season, assisting Ovie Ejaria for a brace at Craven Cottage.
Reading find themselves in a perilous situation at the bottom of the Championship, requiring results to go for them elsewhere to give Noel Hunt's men a chance.
Hosting bottom-club Wigan Athletic on Saturday, it could all come down to a final-day shoot-out between 21st place Huddersfield Town and 22nd place Reading.
