Iconic former Reading boss Brian McDermott has been linked with a return to football, as Sporting Director of Scottish Premiership outfit Hibernian.
The 62-year-old famously lead the Royals to three FA Cup quarter-finals, an unsuccessful play-off campaign and Championship glory from 2009 until 2013, before returning for a short-lived spell in 2016.

Taking charge at Leeds United in between, the former chief scout had time scouting for Arsenal and now gives presentations on his battles with alcoholism and addiction.
According to FootballScotland, McDermott is one of five interviewees at Easter Road to assist manager Lee Johnson in his summer rebuild.
Hibs legend Mixu Paatelainen and former agent Raymond Sparkes are also names linked with the role.
With over 25 years experience with recruiting players, scouting for the Royals and the Gunners as well as managing at the top level, it would appear a job well suited to the legendary figure's skillset.
Hibs currently sit fifth in the top tier, four points behind Edinburgh rivals Hearts.
