Reading goalkeeper Luke Southwood has admitted that he is unsure where he will be playing next season as contract in Berkshire looks set to expire.
The 25-year-old has been impressing on loan with Cheltenham Town, keeping 16 clean sheets in 46 appearances for the League One outfit.
With the Royals now dropping into the same division as the Robins, Southwood could prove a strong asset as number one Joe Lumley returns to Middlesbrough following the culmination of his loan spell.
However, the Academy graduate's deal runs out in the coming month, and it is unclear whether Reading will offer him a new deal.
What a team, and a what a club!❤️Thankyou to everyone for the support from the start right through to the end!🫶🏻 Well done everyone for a massive season 🙏🏼 @CTFCofficial pic.twitter.com/6Au24dCNKa

Speaking to GloucestershireLive about his loan spell with Cheltenham, he said: "It’s going to be an interesting summer, but I’ll have a couple of weeks now to relax and then see where I end up,” he said.
“As it stands I am a free agent and whether Reading want me to go back, I am not sure, we’ll have to see but I am an open book."
Youngster Coniah Boyce-Clarke made his first team debut in the final match of the season, losing 2-0 at Huddersfield Town, while Jokull Andresson remains on the books at the SCL Stadium.
