Celtic and Leicester City coach Chris Davies is among the biggest movers in the latest odds to take over at Reading, according to BetVictor.
It has been almost six weeks since Paul Ince was removed from his post at the SCL Stadium and a fortnight since relegation to League One was confirmed.
Former Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder remains favourite, although now at 3/1 and seemingly moving away from his position in pole.
A new face has come in at 4/1, former Reading coach and Academy prospect Davies.
Still on 38, he has been assistant manager to Brendan Rodgers at the likes of Liverpool and Celtic since 2010.
He also had a stint under Brian McDermott in 2016.
Danny Cowley, most recently at Portsmouth, is 5/1 while Shrewsbury Town manager Steve Cotterill is tied on 8/1 with former Manchester United and Reading defender John O'Shea.
Iconic former captain Graeme Murty is at 12/1 with former favourite Ritchie Wellens and Nathan Jones.
