Reading are set to lose 16-year-old Luca Fletcher to Manchester City for a fee in excess of £1m, according to the Daily Mail.
The teenager has hit over 20 goals for the Royals youth ages and is an England Under-17 international.
Winning the Academy Player of the Season award for last campaign, the report claims that West Ham and Brighton were also keen on the forward.
Fletcher will join the likes of Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Christian Dunbar-McDonald as young prospects who have departed Berkshire to further their careers.

Pep Guardiola's giants are looking to complete a historic treble, already wrapping up the Premier League and in the finals of both the FA Cup and Champions League.
Now in League One and having to rebalance books after years of financial issues, it is a fee the club will struggle to turn down as a return to the Championship takes priority.
A key part of the club, the Academy has reapplied for Category One status after losing it for the first time last season.
