Rumoured Reading transfer targets, Cafu and Lyle Taylor, have been released by Nottingham Forest.
Sky Sports linked the pair to Berkshire during the January transfer window as the pair made just one Premier League appearance between them.
Steve Cooper lead the Tricky Trees to top-flight survival and the pair were two of six first-team stars released from the City Ground.

Both regulars in the Championship, joining in 2020 and making almost 100 combined appearances, Taylor scored five goals on loan at Birmingham City last campaign.
Now in their 30s, they join Jack Colback, Andre Ayew, Jordan Smith and Jesse Lingard heading out the exit door.

Taylor, best known for his time with AFC Wimbledon and Charlton Athletic, was spotted on the press gantry at the SCL Stadium on the final home match of last season.
Reading currently have no first-team central midfielders on their books after 12 first team players departed following relegation to League One.
