Leicester City have released popular former Reading loanee, Ryan Bertrand, after their relegation to the Championship.
Bertrand, a former England international and Champions League winner with Chelsea, played 51 times for the Royals in 2009/10 and finished third in the Player of the Season voting.
Starting off under Brendan Rodgers, Brian McDermott lead the team away from relegation danger and into a first FA Cup quarter-final of the century.
Remaining on the books at Stamford Bridge until 2015, it was a seven-year stint with Southampton where he is best remembered.
Almost 250 appearances later, the full-back moved to the King Power Stadium in 2021, winning the Community Shield on his debut.
However, the 33-year-old has struggled in the East Midlands and departs having made just 11 appearances in two seasons with the club.
He is one of seven first-team players to leave after the 2016 Premier League winners return to the Championship for the first time since 2014.
Daniel Amartey, Nampalys Mendy, Ayoze Pérez and Tetê have also moved on while the Foxes continue to look for a new manager.
