Norwich City are chasing Reading star Tom Ince following relegation to League One.
Ince, 31, enjoyed his best individual season for over five years as he hit nine goals and four assists under his dad Paul Ince.
Suffering injury at the back end of the season, the Player of the Season failed to feature in the final few months of the campaign.
Interest piqued when news broke that in his contract is a relegation release clause of just a five-figure fee.
Originally joining in January 2022 on loan, the former Blackpool and Derby County ace made his switch permanent last summer and signed a three-year contract.
Scoring 11 goals in 54 appearances for the Royals, the Canaries are just one of the multiple second tier clubs chasing Ince as he looks increasingly likely to be heading off in the summer.
Still recovering from an injury, it is unlikely Ince will play for the club again.
