Chelsea youngster Cesare Casadei scored his seventh goal of the Under-20 World Cup as Italy booked their place in Sunday's final.
The 21-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Reading, playing 15 times and scored once against Blackburn Rovers as the Royals were relegated to League One.
Signed from Inter Milan for a reported £15m, the midfielder it top scorer at the tournament, with Uruguay standing in the way of the Azzuri and a first win in the competition.

South Korea made a game of it, equalising through Lee Seung-won's penalty.
More than 20,000 were in attendance in Argentina at the Único Diego Armando Maradona Stadium- the venue for the decider in three days time.
Simone Pafundi's 86th-minute free-kick was all that could separate the sides, while Uruguay squeezed past Israel 1-0 in the other semi-final.
Casadei, linked with Watford over the summer, contributed another goal to knock 2017 champions England out in the round of 16.
