Reading have announced that former Southampton boss, Ruben Selles, will take over the reigns at the club providing his visa is accepted.
The Spaniard won two of 17 matches in charge on the south coast as the Saints were relegated from the Premier League in his only senior managerial role to date.
Only 40, the former fitness coach has experience in Greece, Russia, Azerbaijan, Denmark and Spain.
We are pleased to announce that Rubén Sellés is set to sign a contract and become first team manager of the Royals.

His appointment is subject to the club’s successful application for a work visa, which was submitted at the end of last week.
He is set to end the club's wait for Paul Ince's successor, with the former England captain sacked in April.
The club said: "The application was submitted at the end of last week and we now await a decision on his work visa before he is able to get to work on revitalising this Royals squad and recruiting players to be part of the rebuild at Reading."
This comes the day that news broke regarding a winding up petition brought against the club from HMRC.
