Watford have announced the signing of former Reading top scorer Tom Ince on a two-year deal.
The vastly-experienced forward hit nine goals last season, his best individual tally since 2017, under the management of father, Paul.
Now 31, the former Derby County and Blackpool favourite had a pick of Championship moves after a relegation release clause was triggered- choosing Vicarage Road.
Joining originally on loan in January 2022, he was instrumental in keeping the club up in the Championship during the 2022/23 campaign.
In total, Ince scored 11 goals in 54 appearances in an 18-month spell in Berkshire.
Winning Player of the Season last campaign, which ultimately ended in relegation, he becomes the second signing under new Hornets boss Valerian Ismael.
Finishing in mid-table, the Hertfordshire-based club will be targeting a Premier League return after two years back in the second tier.
