Reading are one of many clubs interested in taking Manchester City's Lewis Fiorini on loan, according to reports.
The 21-year-old midfielder played 14 times for Blackpool last season in the Championship, and the Citizens are unsure whether to sent him out on loan again or find a permanent home.
Under contract until 2026, the Football Insider reported that the Royals are joined by Bristol City and Swansea City in attempting to loan the Scotland youth international.

Out in Spain on pre-season, Reading have no senior midfielders on their books as the club face a rebuild on the pitch during an uncertain period off of it.
Harvey Knibbs and Theo Walcott are among other players reportedly close to joining the club in League One.

This comes just a week after Reading teenager Luca Fletcher departed Berkshire to sign for Manchester City for a significant six figure fee, turning down a professional deal with the Royals in order to make the move.
