Predominantly made up of Under-23 players, and with Ruben Selles yet to be officially confirmed while the Spaniard awaits his work visa, supporters can expect an inexperienced lineup against the Dons.
There will be a familiar face in the opposing side though, with former Royals captain Alex Pearce now plying his trade at Plough Lane.
This will be the second successive season the two sides have met, with Yakou Meite and Jeff Hendrick scoring in a 2-0 win over the same opposition last season.
Two more behind-closed-doors matches upon the squad's return, against Bristol City and QPR, are also available to stream later in the month.
