New Reading boss Ruben Selles has set out what supporters can hope to see this season as he met the media for the first time.
The 40-year-old has taken on his first full-time first-team management role, having had a short-term interim spell at relegated Southampton last season.
Having had a 15-year coaching career right across Europe, the former assistant manager has a clear vision of how he wants his teams to play.
"I hope you saw bits of it in my time with Southampton," he hinted. "I would like to be the protagonist in games: having a very intense and dynamic team that work very vertical in attack with some quick combinations in attacking displays and trying to score goals.
"I try to have a team that can defend high and a team that can manage both transitions- offensive and defensive- with a big eye on set plays which are a very important part of the game in League One."
Aiming to bring in two more coaches, including a specialised set-piece coach, he is also looking at up to 10 new recruits before the campaign officially gets underway on August 5.
