Reading are among a 'host of clubs' looking at Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Jenson Weir, according to reports.
The 21-year-old has been at the AMEX Stadium since 2020 but has never made a first-team appearance.
Spending the last two seasons on loan in League One, Weir was one of the best performers for relegated Morecambe last season.
Scoring 10 goals for the Shrimps from midfield, the former England Under-20 international is thought to be attracting interest from the lower leagues.

Ruben Selles is hopeful of picking up six new signings before the end of the transfer window this month.
