Cesare Casadei is set to join Leicester City on loan from Chelsea, according to reports.
The 20-year-old played 15 times for Reading on loan in the second half of last season, scoring once away at Blackburn Rovers, and went from strength to strength.
Lighting up the Under-20 World Cup over the summer, winning the Player of the Tournament award with Italy, the 20-year-old has caught the attention of second tier clubs.

Watford had been heavily linked with the former Inter Milan youngster but it looks like the midfielder is off to the East Midlands to become a Fox for the campaign.
According to esteemed journalist Fabrizio Romano: "Leicester City have agreed loan deal for Cesare Casadei to join from Chelsea — as revealed in the morning. Deal in place and medical this week, if all goes to plan. Chelsea believe [Enzo] Maresca will be crucial to help Casadei develop best way."
Casadei cost Chelsea more than £5m in 2022 but has only appeared in EFL Trophy fixtures for the Blues to date.
