Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan grabbed himself a brace in a comfortable 2-0 win over 10-man Stevenage.

Take a look at the ratings below.

David Button, 7: Needed to make a crucial first-half save to tip Aaron Pressley's header onto the bar and remained composed throughout. Very good performance from the new keeper.

Amadou Mbengue, 7: Impressive performance at full-back for the Senegal international. His run and strike which lead to Ehibhatiomhan's second was particularly noteworthy.

Nelson Abbey, 7: Cool and calm in possession throughout, the defence were in control throughout. Another impressive display from the captain.

Tyler Bindon, 7: Nobody had more touches than the USA youth international. With America Under-20 coach Marko Mitrovic in attendance, it will not be long before the teenager graces the international stage.

Matthew Carson, 6: Another solid display from the teenager. A few nervy moments but comfortable on the whole. Some very eye-catching crossing when attacking.

Sam Hutchinson, 8: Near-perfect game from the veteran. A wise head amongst the youthful side. Won his tackles, kept the ball moving and not booked. One of his best Reading performances.

Charlie Savage, 7: Lovely corner delivery for Ehibhatiomhan's opening goal. Quieter than he had been in recent matches, still a went about his job well.

Harvey Knibbs, 6: A quieter spell for the summer signing but full of endeavour. Came off in the first half after an issue with his eye.

Mamadi Camara, 7: The teenager was everywhere throughout the match. Had a few sights of goal which were snatched at, but on the whole he caught the eye.

Caylan Vickers, 7: A little gem, the teenager scared the life out of the Stevenage defenders. Full of guile and keen to run at the backline, Vickers is going to be a fan favourite.

Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan, 8: A true striker's appearance. Held the ball up well, took his chances when they came and remained sharp throughout. Only disappointing thing was his offside goal in added time, to rule out a first hattrick.

Substitutes

Femi Azeez, 5: Below par from the first-half addition. Can't knock his attitude, but end product was severely lacking.

Paul Mukairu, 6: Looked bright on his debut. Nearly connected with Azeez's cross to mark his first game with a goal.

Tom McIntyre, 6: Did what he needed to do after coming on late. Won his tackles and headers to help see the win out.

Andy Yiadom, 6: Kept up the tempo after replacing Mbengue, bursting clear of the defenders on a few occasions.

Ben Elliott, 6: Neat and tidy cameo from the debutant. Looks bright and one to keep an eye on.
