Former Reading youngster Omar Richards is 'expected' to join Olympiacos on loan, according to national reports.
Signing his first professional contract with Reading in 2017, the full-back made over 100 appearances before making a shock move to European giants Bayern Munich in 2021.
Playing 17 times and winning the Bundesliga in 2022, the former Fulham youth talent joined newly-promoted Nottingham Forest for over eight million Euros in July 2022.
Cursed with injuries in the East Midlands, the 25-year-old is yet to make his full debut for the Garibaldis.
#nffc defender Omar Richards is expected to sign for Olympiacos on loan. Yet to play for Forest after some horrible luck with injuries, since signing from Bayern last July. Hopefully a change of scenery brings a change in fortune

According to John Percy of the Daily Telegraph, Richards is hoping that "a change of scenery brings a change in fortune."
Olympiacos, the most successful Greek side of all time, are owned by Evangelos Marinakis- the same man who owns Nottingham Forest.
They finished third in the Greek Super League last season, and are in the qualification stage for the UEFA Europa League.
