A team of Reading legends are to take to the field at Farnborough next month to raise money for a food surplus charity.
Team Harvey organises a range of charity matches for great causes, having previously arranged matches with players of AFC Wimbledon and Arsenal.
On Sunday, October it is the turn of the Royals to relace their boots and find their shinpads.
Under-18s coach, Mikele Leigertwood, and former England international Nicky Shorey have been confirmed as playing so far, with many more to be announced nearer the time.
Upcoming next month... a chance to see some Royals legends in action, raising money for a brilliant cause! 😃

Tickets are as little as £6, with all gate receipts going to Dom's Food Mission.
They aim to supply in-date food to those facing food insecurity. In the last two years, Dom’s Food Mission has prevented 200 metric tons of food from going to landfill, instead redirecting it to within the local community- the equivalent of 500,000 meals.
