Former Reading forward Natasha Dowie has confirmed her retirement following her exit over the summer.
The experienced forward, who made her name with Fulham back in 2004, has played in six countries and for the likes of Liverpool, Everton and AC Milan.
Even scoring five goals in 14 appearances for England, Dowie scored 11 goals in 32 appearances for Reading.
She scored four goals in 11 starts during the first half of last season but joined former club Liverpool on loan in January where she scored another two in seven appearances.
Now 35, she has ended her career with 105 goals in 198 appearances.
"It's a lot of emotions but mainly happiness and excitement - no sadness. I'm really proud of what I achieved and I'm excited for my new role," Dowie told BBC Sport.
"I'm going to miss the game - everyone does when they retire. I will miss scoring goals and all of those feelings.
"But I've left the game at a really good point in my career, having ended it at the club I support and love."
