Reading midfielder Charlie Savage has attracted interest from Champions League giants Ajax, according to reports.
The 20-year-old has featured in every League One match this season and has created more chances in the division than any other midfielder.
A Manchester United youth product, the Daily Mirror has reported that Dutch giants Ajax and FC Twente have both kept tabs on the Wales Under-21 international since his days at Old Trafford.
Both clubs sent scouts to Bloomfield Road to see the midfielder, although it was not the result anyone wanted as the Royals went down 4-1 to Blackpool.
The Reading Chronicle understands that over 20 scouts from clubs around Europe were watching Ruben Selles' young side, who have caught the attention of clubs further up the pyramid.
This comes just days after Arsenal had sent staff to watch teenagers Tyler Bindon and Caylan Vickers at Tuesday's 9-0 win over Exeter City.
Regularly among the youngest average squad in the EFL, Reading have piqued the interest of many top-flight clubs.
They sit in the relegation zone with five defeats in their opening eight matches.
