14 players left Reading over the summer, either returning to parent clubs from loan spells or moving on permanently following relegation.
Now 10 games into the 2023/24 campaign, we take a look at how they are getting on at their new clubs- if they have even found new clubs!
Joe Lumley- Southampton
A popular figure while on loan with the Royals, Lumley was released by parent club Middlesbrough over the summer and joined newly relegated Southampton on a free transfer.
Only signed as a back-up option, the 28-year-old is yet to make his debut for the Saints.
Tyrese Fornah- Derby County
Crossing the divide from Nottingham Forest to Derby County, the 24-year-old midfielder has his work cut out to prove himself to his new supporters.
Making seven appearances in all competitions for the Rams, he is yet to contribute toward a goal but has been praised for his hard work and energy.
Jeff Hendrick- Sheffield Wednesday
An ever-present for Reading last season, the Republic of Ireland midfielder earned another shot at the Championship with promoted Sheffield Wednesday.
A regular under now-sacked Xisco Munoz, the 31-year-old has played five times as the Owls sit bottom of the division.
Mamadou Loum- Al-Raed
Not a particularly popular loanee last season, the Porto midfielder has opted to join the revolution in the Saudi Pro League, his side currently sits second from bottom.
Making five appearances, he has already picked up two yellow cards.

Baba Rahman- PAOK
Leaving Chelsea permanently over the summer, the full-back returned to his former club PAOK to a hero's reception.
Already playing 11 times, including in Europe, the Greek side appear to get the best out of the Ghana international.

Cesare Casadei- Leicester City
A January arrival in Berkshire, the Italy Under-21 international enjoyed a superb summer by winning Player of the Tournament at the Under-21 World Cup for Italy.
Now with league leaders Leicester, the midfielder scored the winner on his debut against Cardiff City.
George Puscas- Genoa
Returning to Italy after a loan spell last season which saw Genoa promoted to Serie A, a return to the top flight has not gone well for the striker.
Now 27, the Romanian has appeared just twice and is yet to score at they sit 14th.
Naby Sarr- Al-Markhiya SC
Triggering a clause to leave after relegation, the 30-year-old moved to Qatar.
Starting every game this season, Al-Markhiya sit bottom of the Stars League without a single point.
Lucas Joao- Shanghai Port
One of the best strikers Reading has had in the 21st century, the Portuguese star walked away on a free transfer after relegation to move to China.
Scoring three goals in eight Super League appearances, the 30-year-old's side sit top of the table.
Scott Dann, Shane Long, Liam Moore, Lucas Joao, Luke Southwood and Dejan Tetek have all been released by #ReadingFC.

Luke Southwood- Cheltenham Town
Spending last season with the Robins, and keeping 15 clean sheets, Southwood returned there on a permanent move after his contract expired in Berkshire.
It has been less successful at Whaddon Road this season, sitting bottom of the table without scoring a single goal. Southwood has played every match.

Tom Ince- Watford
Another who triggered a clause after relegation, last year's Player of the Season returned to the second tier with the Hornets.
The 31-year-old has scored once and gained two assists since his move to Vicarage Road, but Valerian Ismael's side have started poorly in the Championship and sit above the relegation zone.

Yakou Meite- Cardiff City
A fan favourite at Reading after seven years in Berkshire, the Ivorian sadly moved on over the summer down the M4 to the Bluebirds.
Yet to net for his new side, the 27-year-old is has played eight times.
Andy Carroll- Amiens
Playing twice for Reading at the start of the season, the 34-year-old moved to France shortly before the summer window slammed shut.
Playing five times in Ligue 2, the former England international has not scored since April.

Junior Hoilett- Vancouver Whitecaps
Offered a new deal but turning it down, Hoilett remained a free agent until last month.
Returning home to Canada, the 32-year-old has ended a 15-year spell in England by making the MLS move. He has featured five times.
