David Button's last-minute howler proved costly as Reading lost 2-1 at Leyton Orient.

Take a look at the ratings below.

David Button, 4: After giving away three soft goals in midweek, it was important to see a reaction from the keeper. Saving most things sent his way, he looked to have gotten over his costly errors at Northampton, but in the final minute he came out to collect a corner and completely missed the ball, leaving an open net for George Moncur to score in. His distribution was not the best either.

Tyler Bindon, 6: Was left very exposed in the first half and was walking on a tightrope after an early booking. Grew into the game after some mid-game tactical moves and looked tighter. Had poachers instincts to grab the equaliser and his first professional goal.

Nelson Abbey, 6: Similar to Tuesday night, the captain looked imperious at the back. Had the pace to cover if the ball went over the top, but was sharp to step in when needed. Can hold his head high.

Harlee Dean, 6: Put in some crucial blocks and tackles in a game requiring the Royals defence to be switched on.

Matt Carson, 5: Left brutally exposed and struggled in the early stages. Grew into the game and looked to get forward where possible.

Lewis Wing, 6: The scrappy start did not suit his game but did manage a few raking passes and looked to set the forwards free whenever possible. Did not deal with a cross into the box very well early on and his half-clearance was fired past Button for the opener.

Charlie Savage, 6: The midfield bundle of energy, the youngster had to fill in last-minute as Sam Hutchinson pulled out. Loved to press and push forward, occasionally leaving space in behind him, but put in some big tackles.

Femi Azeez, 5: Summing up his season so far, nothing he tried came off. Cut a frustrated figure, the winger picked up a silly booking for booting the ball away in anger after dribbling himself up an alleyway and knocking the ball out for a corner.

Harvey Knibbs, 5: Did not support his full-back enough, leaving the defence constatly exposed in the first half. Needed to score before the break which would have given Reading the lead.

Dom Ballard, 7: Full of energy and endeavour, the teenager was full of tricks and skills the Orient defence struggled to handle. Hit the post but was relieved as Bindon bundled home the rebound.

Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan, 6: Similar to recent week, the forward linked up well with teammates and looked dangerous at times, but never truly had a goalscoring chance.

Substitutes

Nesta Guinness-Walker, 6: A good cameo from the full-back after months out in the cold. Full of energy and defended and attacked with purpose.

Paul Mukariu, 5: Ran around a lot but never really impacted the game at all.

Ben Elliott, 6: Had a late volley thunder over the crossbar and looked tidy in possession. Five minutes was not enough time to impact the game for the teenager.
