Reading fans enjoyed the first meeting with Swindon Town for over 20 years, thrashing the Robins 5-0 to confirm progress into the knockout phase of the EFL Trophy.
An above-average crowd for the controversial competition turned out, including almost 1,500 from Wiltshire, as there were plenty of fireworks off the pitch.
