Former Reading boss Steve Clarke has led Scotland to qualification for next summer's European Championship in Germany.
Chelsea legend Clarke took charge of Reading for almost a calendar year from December 2014 until December 2015, famously earning a first FA Cup semi-final appearance since 1927 but only a 19th-place Championship finish.
He started the 2015/16 very well, challenging for promotion for a spell, form fell off in the winter and he was sacked before Christmas.
Taking charge of his country in 2019, he took Scotland to Euro 2020 through the play-offs, but has qualified automatically for Euro 2024.
Winning their first five matches, Spain's victory over Norway last night means they are guaranteed to finish in the top two with two matches to spare.
This is the first time Scotland have qualified for a tournament without needing a play-off since the 1998 World Cup.
Clarke has now become the first manager to guide the Scots to successive European Championships.
