Reading are to face League Two strugglers Forest Green Rovers in the FA Youth Cup this month.
Entering at round one following relegation to League One, Mikele Leigertwood's Under-18s had to get past non-league Oxford City to reach round two.
Cruising to a 4-1 win in Oxfordshire, FGR came from three down to beat Thame United 6-3.
The Royals have never met FGR in a competitive first-team fixture, but the teenagers will face off on Friday, November 24 (7pm kick-off) to try and progress into round three.
Staged at the SCL Stadium, supporters are invited to go and support the next generation of talent.
The likes of Caylan Vickers, Taylan Harris and Tom Norcott- all of whom have appeared in first-team squads this season- were regulars in last year's competition.
Premier League and Championship sides enter at round three, similar to the full FA Cup.
