League One outfit Barnsley have been kicked out of this year's FA Cup for fielding an ineligible player in their first-round replay against non-league Horsham.
After a 3-3 draw at Oakwell, the Tykes progressed 3-0 at the home of the Isthmian League Premier Division.
Or so they thought.
The Professional Game Board Sub-Committee have ruled that a player was ineligible for the replay, as he was not registered and eligible for the original first-round match on Friday, November 3.
Barnsley have admitted this charge and acknowledged that the breach had occurred.
Horsham now progress to play League Two Sutton United in round two on Saturday, December 3.
Reading face fellow non-league outfit Eastleigh on Sunday, December 4.
Barnsley visit the SCL Stadium on Saturday, December 8.
