Reading put Carlisle United to the sword in a 5-1 win at the SCL Stadium to move off the foot of the League One table.

Here are the ratings.

David Button, 6: Made one big save and was rarely tested, but could have done better for the Cumbrians first-half equaliser.

Andy Yiadom, 6: Loved to get forward, as ever, and looked solid for the most part. Could have done better to stop the cross for Carlisle's goal.

Nelson Abbey, 6: A few scuffed clearances and attempts to pass out from the back, but looked defensively solid and complimented his partner's play well.

Tyler Bindon, 7: Similar to the Wycombe win on Saturday, the New Zealand international won everything in the air and looked very comfortable with Nelson Abbey sweeping up behind.

Jeriel Dorsett, 7: Really impressive display from the out-of-position defender, who is fast becoming the club's number one left-back despite being predominantly a centre-back.

Michael Craig, 7: Another impressive performance from the youngster, who continues to look wise beyond his years in a busy midfield. Winning the ball and laying it off to the ball playing teammates, he is quickly becoming un-droppable.

Lewis Wing, 7: Grew into the game but had the quality to unlock the defence. Scored the best goal of the game and picked out Harvey Knibbs with a clever pass for an assist. That is now six goal contributions in seven matches.

Harvey Knibbs, 7: A totally new player since being moved into a central position, the former Cambridge United star bagged himself a brace and could have got a hattrick right at the death. Needs to be kept infield going forward.

Femi Azeez, 7: Two assists and a goal to follow up his two assists on Saturday, the winger is finding some much needed form. Having not scored for over a year, you won't find a more popular scorer than the Academy graduate. Hopefully the strike he needed to set him on the goal trail.

Sam Smith, 6: Had little in the way of scoring chances, but the forward held the ball up expertly and tried to link up with the midfielders as best he could

Paul Mukariu, 6: Flashes of his potential, but did go missing for spells of the game.

Substitutes

Amadou Mbengue, 6: Came on in the second half and did what he needed to do to help see the game out.

Ben Elliott, 6: Had little involvement beside a raking pass to set Azeez clear for his late goal. Needs more action.

Charlie Savage, 6: Ran hard and won clever free kicks to manage the game. Waiting in the wings for a chance to return to the fold since his suspension return.
