Reading manager Ruben Selles has made three changes for the Thames Valley Derby against Oxford United, with three Academy graduates returning from the start.
Tom Holmes, Jeriel Dorsett and Caylan Vickers, all of whom have progressed through the youth ranks with the Royals, come in the place of Tyler Bindon, Clinton Mola and Paul Mukariu.
David Button remains between the sticks, with Andy Yiadom and Nelson Abbey the only two defenders to keep their place from Saturday’s 3-1 defeat to Barnsley.
An unchanged midfield of Michael Craig, Harvey Knibbs and Lewis Wing will be providing ammunition for Femi Azeez, Sam Smith and Vickers.
In total, six Academy graduates start against rivals Oxford for bragging rights against the U’s.
Ben Elliott, Charlie Savage and Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan can all change the game from the bench.
Former Reading trialist Josh Murphy starts for the U's, as do former Reading targets Fin Stevens and Mark Harris.
