Reading's first derby day at Oxford United since 2004 has been brought forward to a lunchtime kick-off following discussions with Thames Valley Police.
The U's visited the SCL Stadium a fortnight ago for a 1-1 draw, the first league meeting between the sides for over 20 years, and 10 arrests were made for violent disorder around the town.
Due to make the reverse trip to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday, February 3, kick-off has been brought forward to 12.30 pm 'after speaking to Thames Valley Police.'
This will be the Royals’ first visit to the Kassam Stadium since August 2004.
Ticketing details for this fixture have not yet been announced, but an allocation of around 1,400 is likely to be snapped up in no time at all.
