Reading boss Ruben Selles has made one change for the crunch relegation battle against Cheltenham Town, with Sam Smith coming back in from the start.
For Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Peterborough United, young forward Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan replaced the experienced striker, however, he was substituted with 40 minutes remaining and Smith came on to score the first equaliser.
The remainder of the team stays the same for the third successive match, with the festive period bringing four points before the trip to the Completely-Suzuki Stadium.
David Button remains between the sticks, with Amadou Mbengue; Nelson Abbey; Tom Holmes and Jeriel Dorsett protecting in front.
A midfield trio of Michael Craig; Lewis Wing and Harvey Knibbs sit behind an in-form front three of Femi Azeez; Smith and Paul Mukariu.
Charlie Savage, Ehibhatiomhan and Ben Elliott provide attacking options from the bench.
