Former Reading midfielder Ovie Ejaria has been linked with a return to the Championship despite not appearing in a match for over a year.
The 26-year-old played 124 times for the Royals in four years with the club but had not featured in over a calendar year before his release in December- six months before his contract was due to be up.
A skilful midfielder who rose through the ranks at Liverpool, attitude problems and injuries marred his inconsistent spell in Berkshire- showing glimpses of pure quality but regularly flattering to deceive.
According to Football Insider, the Championship survival hopefuls are 'weighing up' a contract offer for the former England Under-21 international.
Ian Foster's Pilgrims, back in the second tier for the first time in over 15 years, have lost key midfielders Fin Azaz and Luke Cundle, as well as promotion-winning manager Steven Schumacher.
He would represent a low-risk move with plenty of Championship experience and has reportedly had a period on trial at Home Park.
