Reading midfielder Ben Elliott will return to the UK and be available again following Cameroon's exit from the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 21-year-old last played for the Royals on New Year's Day and has since been in the Ivory Coast for the prestigious international tournament.
The Chelsea youngster failed to get off the bench in any of the four fixtures, with his nation losing 2-0 to Nigeria in the round of 16.
An exciting midfielder who progresses the ball, Elliott is yet to complete the full 90 minutes for the side since joining in the summer.
Reading travel to rivals Oxford United on Saturday lunchtime for the latest instalment of the Thames Valley Derby.
Elliott played 11 minutes in the 1-1 draw with the U's back in November and could make his return to action at the Kassam Stadium.
