Reading Academy graduate Tariqe Fosu is reportedly on trial with Major League Soccer franchise Charlotte, scoring in a friendly win over LA Galaxy.
The 28-year-old spent 13 years rising through the ranks in Berkshire but managed just one professional appearance.
Enjoying EFL stints with Oxford United, Charlton Athletic and Brentford, the wide man was released by the Premier League Bees over the summer after loan spells with Stoke City and Rotherham United.
A video posted on the club X account shows the 'trialist' scoring, with the name on the shirt clearly visible.

Yet to find a new club since the summer of 2023, the Ghana international netted the second in a comfortable friendly win.
Managed by former Aston Villa and Brentford boss Dean Smith, the franchise was only founded in 2022 and came ninth out of 15 teams last season.
Former Derby County full-back Nathan Byrne and Villa midfielder Ashley Westwood play for the roster in the Eastern Conference.
The regular season gets underway in under two weeks.
