AFC Wimbledon are hosting an 'Evening With' Reading legend Steve Coppell at Plough Lane.
'Sir Steve', now 68, played almost 350 times for Manchester United in the 1970s and 1980s but is best known for his long association with Crystal Palace and Reading.
Joining the club in 2003 after Alan Pardew walked out to join West Ham United, Coppell was the manager that led the Royals into the top flight for the first time ever back in 2006, and in record-breaking fashion.
We’ve got a brilliant event coming up at the Cherry Red Records Stadium that is sure to wet the appetite of #CPFC, #ReadingFC & #MUFC fans! 🙌
