Millwall legend Neil Harris has left Cambridge United to return to the Den for a second spell as manager just a matter of weeks before the U's are due to face Reading.
Harris is the top-scorer in the history of Millwall Football Club and had a four-year spell as manager from 2015 until 2019.
The former striker has since been in charge of Cardiff City, Gillingham and Cambridge, the latter two of which he took charge of at times this season.
Replacing Joe Edwards, who had the Lions sinking towards relegation to League One, the 46-year-old took charge of just 14 matches with Cambridge, winning five of them.
Sitting directly below the Royals in the League One table, with two games in hand, they travel to Berkshire on March 16.
Mark Bonner's side beat Ruben Selles' Royals 1-0 at the Abbey Stadium in the reverse fixture, but this is a Reading team made of sturdier stuff in a current rich vein of form.
There have been 12 managerial changes in the third tier so far this season.
