Reading remain five points clear of the relegation zone after six League One teams played games in hand over the Royals last night.
Sat in 17th after 36 league matches, some had played two or even as many as three less than Ruben Selles' men as we approach the final run-in.
Three matches took place last night, with Charlton Athletic beating Cheltenham Town 3-1 at the Completely Suzuki Stadium.
Nathan Jones' Addicks, now unbeaten in six, have overtaken Reading and moved up to 14th, seven points clear of the relegation zone.
Although Charlton's win at Cheltenham tonight (via a couple of late goals) means #ReadingFC move down a spot, it wipes off one of Town's games in hand.

The Robins, meanwhile, remain 21st and occupy the final relegation spot on 34 points, albeit still with a game in hand over Reading.
15th-place Wycombe Wanderers visit the SCL Stadium on Saturday for a Berks-Bucks Derby, with the winner of that potentially leapfrogging Exeter City and Charlton depending on their results.
This is all still with a potential two-point deduction hanging over Reading's head if they miss any payments between now and the end of the season.
At the top of the table, Bolton Wanderers kept their noses in the automatic promotion space with a 98th-minute equaliser at fourth-place Barnsley.
Peterborough United stay fifth with a comfortable 5-1 win over rivals Northampton Town.
