Reading favourite Garath McCleary is set to make his first return to the Select Car Leasing Stadium since his exit in 2020.
The 36-year-old winger spent eight years with the Royals, playing 270 times and famously scoring for the club in the FA Cup semi-final nine years ago.
Playing regularly right up to the end of his spell, the former Nottingham Forest wide-man had a controversial end to his time under the management of Jose Gomes and current Director of Football Operations, Mark Bowen.
Deemed surplus to requirements and even spending time training with the Academy players, the veteran bounced back with Wycombe Wanderers and continues to impress in League One in his 16th professional season.
Starting for the Chairboys in November's reverse fixture, this is the Buckinghamshire outfit's first time to RG2 since September 2020, when fans were shut out during the Covid-19 pandemic and a month before McCleary put pen to paper on a deal at Adams Park.
