On this day nine years ago, more than 4,300 Reading fans made the long trip to Yorkshire to face League Two Bradford City in the FA Cup quarter-final.
Set up as two underdogs fighting for a place at Wembley Stadium, the 90 minutes were less than memorable as a 0-0 stalemate was played out at Valley Parade.
Thankfully, for Royals fans, Phil Parkinson's side were put to the sword at the Madejski Stadium in the replay, cruising to a 3-0 win to set up a semi-final tie with Arsenal.
Take a look below at some of the memories from supporters looking back at the gritty afternoon almost a decade on.
One of the worst pitches I think I've ever watched Reading play on that day!

Remember having a banging curry post-match, but not much about the actual match!

Drove up on the day, stayed overnight in one of the worst travelodge’s ever. Vaguely remember eating a kfc after several too many 😅

I was there - great memories of the pub before hand and how full valley parade was - amazing to see that stadium full to the brim. The rest was very forgettable!

Had fish and chips outside the ground at the cost of about £1.50. Cracking atmosphere proper cup tie even if the game lacked abit.

A midfield battle of attrition; Pog hitting the post the only real highlight; being right behind it and already thinking it is was in as soon as it left his boot.

Remember it being a proper feisty game. I recall Chalobah absolutely taking out one of their players about 10 seconds after kick off

Alex Pearce covered in blood stripping down to his pants at the side of the pitch in a desperate attempt to get back on as quickly as possible 🤣 It was quite the battle.
