Derby County boss Paul Warne has labelled Reading 'the best pressing team in the league' ahead of tonight's meeting at Pride Park.
The Rams sit second in League One and nobody has been in better form over the last six months, but the Royals won 1-0 in the reverse fixture in Berkshire.
Paul Mukariu's second-half goal was enough for victory in January, with the original tie postponed for international fixtures.
Another difficult week off the field has taken the headlines, with owner Dai Yongge admitting that he's willing to sell the Bearwood training complex and supporters rallying around to try and raise funds for the club in an attempt to stave off the £1m shortfall facing the club.
Speaking before the latest clash, Warne said: "I fully respect what they’re doing. They’re a really good team, the best pressing team in the league, which shouldn’t be underestimated because a lot of teams press now. They’ve got goals throughout their team and some players- especially Wingy- are a real threat. We are well aware of how good they will be."
Derby County are a regular foe of Reading, with meetings in every year apart from 2023 since 2002.
