Reading protest group Sell Before We Dai, twinned with Elm Park Royals, have set up a donation page for the club as the financial shortfall facing the club this month was revealed to be approximately £1m.
Supporters Trust at Reading [STAR] revealed that the club were facing a difficult race to fund a shortfall of their outgoings when speaking with former CEO Nigel Howe.
Sell Before We Dai, the group responsible for leading the charge of forcing owner Dai Yongge to sell the club, broke the news that the funds needed are in excess of £1m and have set up a donation page.
Any payments missed between now and the end of the season will result in a fresh two-point deduction from the EFL.
April and May are expected to be less of an issue for the club, with the Reading Chronicle understanding that more income streams will be available to them that currently are not.
Donation page now open for tickets. All money into this page will go back to the club through ticket sales (in turn given away to other fans)https://t.co/WfaOJZQW3b#ReadingFC pic.twitter.com/SkbnxviMXA

All funds will be paid directly into the club via ticket sales, hoping to sell out the remaining four home matches of the season, starting on Saturday as Cambridge United visit Berkshire.
STAR will also donate £2,000 and the £7,500 raised before Christmas for staff to have a party is also set to be put toward the fund.
Almost £20,000 was raised within 12 hours, but the group are appealing for corporate support.
