Supporters Trust at Reading [STAR] have restarted fundraising for this month's 'stark and immediate' shortfall.
Efforts had been paused temporarily as news broke of Wycombe Wanderers' deal to purchase Bearwood training facility, with the Chairboys reportedly to help pay outgoings while a deal with in the works.
However, Wycombe announced yesterday that they have paused their talks to buy Bearwood and are withholding this funding which would have paid payroll and HMRC.

A deal is in progress to take over from Dai Yongge, but it remains to be seen if the ink is dry on any contracts in time to assist with outgoings due in the coming days.

Thousands of pounds were raised by Elm Park Royals through ticket sales for Saturday's 4-0 win over Cambridge United.
For £1,000, supporters can sponsor a first-team player for the remainder of the season.

If any payments are missed between now and the end of the season, the Royals will be hit with another two-point deduction with just seven matches remaining.
