Reading will survive the drop down to League Two, finishing 17th in the third tier of English football on 50 points, according to the OLBG SuperComputer.
This is despite The Royals having been deducted six points so far this season due to EFL Regulation breaches - the same points margin that Reading will avoid relegation by.
Another two points are lingering overhead should the club fail to pay any outgoings between now and the end of the season.
A spokesperson for OLBG said: "Reading are set to finish six points above the relegation zone, ensuring their safety in League One for next season.
"The Royals have been deducted six points so far this season due to EFL Regulation breaches but promising results, including a 4-0 win against Cambridge United on Saturday, will see the club avoid the drop to League Two."
Garry Monk's U's, who were pushed aside on the weekend in Berkshire, are predicted to be relegated alongside the current bottom three of Carlisle United, Port Vale and Fleetwood Town.
At the other end of the table, Portsmouth are expected to win League One while Bolton Wanderers are predicted to finish as runners-up.
Lincoln City are expected to continue their current form and pip Oxford United to the final play-off spot by two points.
Derby County, Barnsley and Peterborough United are also expected to reach the end of season drama.
