Reading will host Blackpool on the final day of the League One season, kicking off at 12.30 pm it has been confirmed.
All fixtures kick-off at the same time on the final day of matches, with times the only issue up for debate heading into the last few weeks of the campaign.
However, for the 2023/24 season the EFL have now confirmed that the third tier will begin at lunchtime, while League Two remain at a 3pm kick-off and the Championship seven days later on May 4.
The Tangerines, who beat the Royals 4-1 at Bloomfield Road in the reverse fixture, will look to haul themselves into the play-offs before their trip to the SCL Stadium.
Meanwhile, survival is the name of the game for Reading and Ruben Selles.
Seven matches remain in the season, with Reading currently in 18th and seven points clear of the drop.
If the club fail to pay any outgoing between now and the end of the season, two points will be deducted.
The club have put on sale a three-game combo ticket which covers all remaining home matches.
