Reading are keen on acquiring Chippenham Town teenager Dan Ellison, according to national reports.
The 18-year-old rose through the ranks with the Bluebirds and has had a breakthrough campaign in National League South.
A talented centre-back signed an 18-month contract in December and has had experienced on dual registration with the likes of Devizes Town and Calne Town.
Turning some heads, the youngster had spent time on trial with Championship giants Sheffield Wednesday, featuring for their Under-23 team in November but nothing came of the stint.

Dan Marsh of the Daily Mirror has reported that Chippenham want £10,000 and a 20 per cent sell-on fee.
Reading are said to be keen, but are currently unable to do the deal due to the transfer embargo.
The Royals are unable to pay a transfer fee or loan fee until 2025, and have not been able to since 2020.
QPR, Leyton Orient and Blackpool are also stated to have interest.
