Lincoln City forward Ben House will be heading down to Berkshire with a point to prove after being released by Reading four years ago.
The 24-year-old from Guildford spent four years in the Academy set-up with the Royals and made one FA Cup cameo appearance in 2020 but failed to make a league debut.
Entering the field against Cardiff City with 20 minutes remaining, Tom McIntyre's red card saw the striker substituted on 83 minutes and never featured again.
Spending some time on loan with Swindon Town and Dagenham and Redbridge, his contract was not renewed and he became a free agent- joining National League Eastleigh ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.

Comes on after 75 minutes.
Reading defender McIntyre gets sent off.
House replaced by sub defender another 83 minutes.
15 goals in 60 appearances for the Spitfires prompted Lincoln to pick the striker up in January 2022, where he has since gone on to score 16 times in 67 appearances.
Enduring a lengthy injury lay-off this season, missing from September until February, the forward scored and picked up an assist last time out against Carlisle United.
House is yet to come up against his former club since his exit, but is expected to change that tomorrow.
Lincoln, on an incredible run of 15 matches unbeaten, are making the trip to the Select Car Leasing Stadium for the first time since its debut campaign in 1998/99.
Almost 1,400 Imps will be contributing to raucous atmosphere as both teams need points to achieve their aims of the play-offs and survival respectively.
