Lincoln City boss Michael Skubala has admitted that Reading are a dangerous team and that his in-form side will have to be on it to get a result.
The Imps are on an incredible run of 15 matches unbeaten and currently occupy the final play-off spot in League One.
Almost 1,400 supporters are making the journey from Lincolnshire, the first meeting between the sides since the Madejski Stadium's debut year in 1998.
"I know they had their financial problems but they’re still a big club and have good players," Skubala told BBC Radio Lincolnshire. "They can really hurt you if you’re not on top of it. Reading, and maybe Wigan the same, with points deductions the league table doesn’t really tell you.
"When they came to our ground, I thought they were phenomenal on the day so we’re going to have to be really on it. We’re in a very different place now to where we were then and the way we’re playing is stronger. We’re going to have to be on it, there’s no doubt about it.
"I also think they have weaknesses that we can exploit. If we do our work well and look after ourselves then we can hurt them, but they’ll be thinking the same."
Reading dominated proceedings at Sincil Bank in December, drawing 1-1 but seeing two goals ruled out.
However, Lincoln are now the form side in the division and have the best defensive record in the third tier.
