Portsmouth are keen on signing Reading midfielder Michael Craig, according to reports.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a breakout campaign in Berkshire, featuring 36 times in all competitions.
Arriving in 2022 after a trial period from Tottenham Hotspur, the youngster made five appearances under Paul Ince while the Royals were relegated from the Championship.
Toward the end of the campaign, Ruben Selles settled on a midfield trio of Lewis Wing, Harvey Knibbs and Ben Elliott, limiting Craig's involvement.
According to Football Insider, League One champions Portsmouth have shown interest in the Scotland Under-21 international.
Pompey are back in the Championship after a decade in the lower tiers, promoted alongside Derby County.
Craig played for the entire match both home and away to Portsmouth, losing 3-2 and 4-1 respectively.
Reading are yet to confirm their retained list, with futures uncertain over a number of key performers.
